Loren Whittaker
Loren is the Administrative Assistant at Southern Impact Research Center. His duties include Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable, Legal Case document control and filing, Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing
and Inventory Control, Secretary, and Receptionist.
Loren graduated from Willamette University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He was
commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and sent to pilot training for one year.
Upon graduating from pilot training, he was assigned to duty in Southeast Asia completing 500 combat hours
as a night Forward Air Controller over Laos. Returning from Southeast Asia, Loren was assigned to duty as
an Air Refueling Pilot in Strategic Air Command. He was later selected by a Four Star General to be one of
his personal pilots in Air Force Logistics Command. After a short assignment to a test wing, he was
assigned as a Financial Analyst within Air Force Systems Command. During his assignment in Air Force
Systems Command, he graduated from Central Michigan University with a Masters Degree in Business
Management and Supervision. Loren's last assignment prior to retirement was as a Special Air Missions
Pilot supporting the Vice President, the First Lady, Members of the Cabinet and Congress, and visiting
Foreign Heads of State. |

After Air Force retirement Loren was hired to fly for a large corporation headquartered in the state
of New York. His thirteen-year position as a corporate pilot included several years as Chief Pilot and
Aviation Department Manager. |
